 When we hear terms like “tremors,” “shuffling gait,” or “rigidity,” the automatic label is often Parkinson’s disease . But what if we paused for a moment and asked: “Is this really neurological... or could it be muscular?” In my years of clinical observation, I’ve noticed that some individuals diagnosed or presumed to have Parkinson’s display classic signs of long-term muscle fatigue—symptoms that may emerge from chronic overuse and inactivity rather than pure neurodegeneration. Many of these patients have spent years in suboptimal postures, often with prolonged static loads and poor ergonomic support. Even a small group of cases in my own practice has shown a pattern where muscle fatigue—rather than a failing brain—is the culprit behind tremors, rigidity, and gait instability.
